Responsibilities
- Execute efficient and warm check-in and check-out procedures for all guests, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails professionally, answering inquiries and routing messages to appropriate departments promptly.
- Handle guest complaints or requests with empathy and urgency, escalating complex issues to the manager when necessary.
- Process payments and reconcile daily financial transactions accurately using the property management system (PMS).
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain the reception area's appearance, ensuring it is organized, welcoming, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in managing the hotel's loyalty program database and verifying guest credentials for special access.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with property management systems (e.g., Opera, SkyTouch) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse guests and staff members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure during peak check-in times.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
