Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all registration information and payment processing.
- Respond to incoming calls and emails promptly, providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
- Manage reservations and room assignments using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Assist guests with special requests, including concierge services, transportation, and dining reservations.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment with strict adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared to the highest standard.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service or front desk operations.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
