Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests upon arrival and departure, handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Reservations Management: Process incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms, ensuring accuracy and maximizing room revenue.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to management as needed.
- Operations Support: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Communication: Relay accurate information regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options to guests.
- Security & Safety: Monitor security cameras, verify identity, and ensure compliance with hotel safety and security policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations or a related customer service role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or SkyTouch; strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished and professional demeanor.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Language: Bilingual (Spanish) is highly preferred.
