Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive and memorable first impression.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently manage the registration process, including verifying information, processing payments, and issuing room keys.
- Guest Relations: Handle incoming phone calls and guest inquiries with professionalism, resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Front Office Support: Assist with mail, packages, and concierge requests to enhance the guest experience.
- Security and Safety: Monitor the front desk area and lobby for safety, reporting any suspicious activity or maintenance issues immediately.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records in the Property Management System (PMS) and perform general clerical duties as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications in hospitality are a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, Frontdesk Anywhere, or similar.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by business needs.
- Interpersonal: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle difficult situations with grace and empathy.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move freely around the lobby and hotel premises.
