Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest check-in/out experiences with personalized service
- Manage room reservations and modify bookings using Opera PMS system
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for guest requests
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain detailed logs of guest interactions and special requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Minnesota hospitality alcohol service certification
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and positive demeanor
- Basic knowledge of Minneapolis attractions and transportation
