Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Manage the hotel's switchboard, answering inquiries and directing calls to the appropriate department.
- Handle guest complaints and requests with empathy and professionalism to ensure high satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with concierge services, including making restaurant reservations and arranging local transportation.
- Process payments accurately and maintain daily financial records.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light luggage.
