Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accuracy of billing and room keys.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with housekeeping duties as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and manage petty cash drawers accurately.
- Process reservations and maintain the hotelβs database systems.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or reception is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Proficiency with computers and property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
