Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out procedures using Opera PMS
- Address guest inquiries with prompt, personalized solutions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for special requests
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Upsell hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain detailed records of guest preferences and feedback
- Collaborate with management during high-traffic periods
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk experience required
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera/PMS)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Basic knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation
- Valid Illinois hospitality/serving alcohol certification preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
