Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Provide a warm welcome and professional check-in/check-out services, ensuring all guest needs are anticipated and exceeded.
- Communication: Handle incoming calls and emails efficiently, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments or resolving them immediately.
- Operations: Assist in managing room keys, security access, and maintaining accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Lobby Management: Monitor the lobby area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere, coordinate with housekeeping and bell services, and handle any guest complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Information: Provide accurate information regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation to enhance the guest experience.
- Security: Adhere to all hotel security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree in Hospitality is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations or a similar customer service role within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to converse fluently in English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure, especially during peak check-in times.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
