Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest check-in/check-out services using Opera property management system
- Manage room reservations and optimize occupancy rates through strategic upselling
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Multitask phone calls, emails, and in-person guest requests efficiently
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Uphold brand standards through consistent service excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Basic knowledge of Chicago tourism attractions and services
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
