Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out procedures using Opera property management system
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
- Resolve guest concerns promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary
- Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and maintenance departments to ensure seamless operations
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized lobby area and ensure professional presentation standards
- Assist with special requests including transportation arrangements and local recommendations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or front desk experience in luxury hotel setting
- Proficiency with reservation systems (Opera, Marriott, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish highly valued
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution expertise
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
