Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, managing the check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with the highest level of courtesy and problem-solving skills.
- Manage the hotel's telephone system, taking accurate messages and making reservations for future stays.
- Assist in housekeeping coordination to ensure guest rooms meet our high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash and credit records using our property management system.
- Stay updated on local events, attractions, and directions to provide exceptional recommendations.
- Maintain the front desk area to ensure a welcoming, organized, and professional atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or a related hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
