Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying identification and processing payments accurately.
- Answer incoming calls and emails, responding to inquiries regarding reservations, services, and local recommendations.
- Manage the front desk operations during assigned shifts, including handling check-ins, wake-up calls, and room service requests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Assist guests with special requests, such as valet parking, luggage storage, and concierge services.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict adherence to company policies and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
