Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary information and payments are collected accurately.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding services, amenities, and local attractions in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and diplomacy, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Manage the hotel's key card system and maintain the front desk area to ensure a welcoming and organized environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including mail, faxes, and managing the lobby concierge area.
- Process nightly reports and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions and reservations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or reception role is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Candidate must be available for immediate start.
