Responsibilities
- Execute efficient check-in and check-out procedures for all guests, ensuring accuracy and a welcoming demeanor.
- Manage phone inquiries and emails promptly, directing calls to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and maintain daily reconciliation logs.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues immediately, escalating to management when necessary to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Provide detailed information regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Assist with concierge services and special requests to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations or customer service.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and a positive, friendly attitude.
