Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional greeting to all guests, visitors, and clients entering the facility.
- Phone Management: Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, routing them to the appropriate department or taking accurate messages.
- Check-In/Out: Assist with patient or client check-in processes, verifying insurance information and collecting necessary documentation.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is organized, clean, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Scheduling Support: Coordinate appointments and manage the digital calendar to ensure efficient scheduling.
- Administrative Support: Handle mail, distribute packages, and assist with general clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or in a customer service role is preferred but not strictly required for immediate hires.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact positively with diverse populations and maintain a friendly attitude under pressure.
- Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
