Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Manage daily front desk operations, including answering phones, processing reservations, and handling inquiries via email and in-person.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the lobby and front desk area.
- Address guest complaints and requests promptly, escalating complex issues to the management team as needed.
- Process payments and post charges accurately using the hotel property management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Provide local recommendations and directions to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk, reception, or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory (immediate training provided).
- Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and property management systems.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Must be able to stand and move around the lobby for extended periods.
