Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using PMS systems while maintaining accurate records
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing inquiries with precision
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally exceeding service standards
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams for seamless operations
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain financial accuracy
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experiences
- Uphold brand standards through attentive grooming and professional demeanor
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service experience in hospitality
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Valid CA driver's license with clean record (if airport shuttle required)
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of San Jose attractions and transportation options
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
