Responsibilities

  • Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently, ensuring all necessary paperwork and payments are processed accurately.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating complex issues to the manager when necessary.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including maintaining the lobby area, organizing the reception desk, and managing the key control system.
  • Process reservations and modify existing bookings using our Property Management System (PMS).
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for check-in.
  • Perform cashier duties, including balancing daily deposits and generating accurate reports.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or tourism degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Maestro, or similar).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check.
