Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the lobby and at the front desk.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently using the property management system (PMS), verifying reservation details and collecting payments.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate department or take detailed messages.
  • Assist with luggage handling, valet coordination, and providing directions to guests within the hotel and resort.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, security, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a front desk, concierge, or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
