Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries regarding reservations, hotel amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest complaints and requests with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Process payments and reconcile daily sales reports using hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Upsell hotel services and packages to maximize revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
