We are seeking a dynamic and professional Front Desk Agent to become the first point of contact for our distinguished guests. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering world-class service, managing guest reservations, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. You will represent our brand values and contribute to creating memorable moments for every guest who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Check-in/Check-out: Process guest registrations, payments, and room keys efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls, manage the switchboard, and relay messages promptly and accurately.
- Information Desk: Provide detailed information about local attractions, dining, and transportation to enhance the guest experience.
- Lobby Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby lounge at all times.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with lobby concierge duties, mail services, and other front-of-house administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role within a luxury hotel or upscale establishment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional hospitality training is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with PMS software (e.g., Opera, Smith Travel) is preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; bilingual candidates (Spanish, French, or Italian) are highly desirable.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming standards consistent with a luxury brand.
