Responsibilities
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer incoming calls and emails in a professional and timely manner, managing reservations and inquiries.
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and genuine smile, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with grace and urgency, escalating to management when necessary.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records for all transactions.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining the reception area.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; additional hospitality certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk, reception, or guest services.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
