Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service during check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage room reservations and modify bookings using Opera PMS
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Operate switchboard and manage multi-line phone systems
- Assist with VIP guest arrangements and special requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years luxury hotel front desk experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Fluent English with exceptional communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Valid New York State Food Handler's Certificate preferred
- Knowledge of NYC attractions and transportation systems
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
