Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
- Operations: Manage the front desk operations efficiently, including answering phones, handling emails, and managing reservations.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant teams to coordinate guest needs.
- Security: Verify identity and collect appropriate payment for guests, ensuring all safety and security protocols are followed.
- Upselling: Promote hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk role within a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems (PMS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Interpersonal: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.
