Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all registration procedures are completed accurately and in compliance with hotel policies.
- Reservation Management: Assist with incoming reservations, modify existing bookings, and handle special requests to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for guests, answering inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or issues immediately and escalate them to management when necessary, ensuring a seamless experience.
- PMS Operations: Utilize property management systems (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) to manage room inventory, rates, and guest profiles.
- Ambiance Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and professionalism of the front desk area and lobby at all times.
- Upselling: Proactively promote hotel amenities, dining options, and local attractions to enhance the guest stay.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Attitude: A positive, friendly, and professional attitude with a strong focus on customer service excellence.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel software systems.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming standards are required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
