Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails with a professional and helpful demeanor.
- Process payments accurately using the hotel's property management system (PMS).
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries about local attractions, dining, and services.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy front desk environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
