Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/checkouts with precision and warmth using Opera property management system
- Respond to guest requests and emergencies during overnight hours with calm professionalism
- Process payments accurately and maintain secure cash handling procedures
- Coordinate with housekeeping and security teams for operational excellence
- Handle VIP arrivals and special requests with discretion and attention to detail
- Monitor security systems and respond to any overnight incidents per protocol
- Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate guest records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk experience required
- Proficiency in Opera property management system
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Detroit area attractions and services
- High school diploma or equivalent required
