Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage check-in/check-out processes for overnight guests using Opera PMS system
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism
- Monitor security protocols and manage access control for guest floors
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for urgent requests
- Process cash transactions and manage night audit procedures
- Prepare reports for management regarding overnight operations
- Maintain accurate guest records and reservation details
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk experience required
- Proven ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of San Jose area attractions and services
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
