Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to all guests and visitors, ensuring they feel valued immediately upon arrival.
- Check-in/Check-out: Efficiently process reservations, manage guest check-ins and check-outs, and ensure accurate data entry into the Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Handle incoming telephone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally, directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Lobby Management: Maintain a pristine and organized lobby area, assisting with luggage or directions as needed.
- Issue Resolution: Address guest concerns or complaints with empathy and urgency, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform basic clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and preparing daily reports.
Qualifications
- Attitude: A positive demeanor and a genuine passion for helping people.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- Flexibility: Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate objects (up to 20 lbs).
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and dependability.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
