Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service during evening/night hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and resolving inquiries
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing with precision using hotel management software
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams to maintain operational standards
- Handle emergency situations calmly and according to hotel protocols
- Process payments and manage cash drawer with strict adherence to financial controls
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience
- Maintain accurate records of guest requests and special accommodations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi)
- Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Valid Texas driver's license (if required for errands)
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of Austin attractions and transportation options
- High school diploma or equivalent required
