Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Handle all incoming phone calls and guest inquiries with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ensure the accuracy of room rates, reservations, and folio charges using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Monitor hotel security and safety protocols, including key card access and emergency response procedures.
- Assist guests with concierge requests, local directions, and transportation arrangements.
- Perform nightly housekeeping rounds to verify room readiness and address any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, including the reception desk and lobby.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel front desk operations or customer service.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Professional appearance and grooming standards are mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations and check-in procedures.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
