As a Night Shift Agent, you will be the first point of contact for arriving guests and the last point of contact for those checking out. Your role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes for all guests, ensuring accuracy and a personalized welcome.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, resolving issues with patience and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby, reception desk, and surrounding public spaces.
- Assist in security procedures, including key card access and verifying guest identities.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet our high standards.
- Process payments accurately and balance the daily shift report at the end of the night.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and follow established safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or hospitality certification is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or in customer service, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Must be available to work nights, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems (PMS).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
