Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure, ensuring a memorable first and last impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, verifying guest information and processing payments.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails with a courteous and helpful demeanor.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby to uphold the hotel's high standards of appearance.
- Assist with coordinating housekeeping requests and maintenance issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Stay updated on local area attractions, dining options, and transportation to provide accurate recommendations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; hospitality experience is a plus but not required for eager learners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable tone.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse guests and team members.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and property management systems (training provided).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
