The Role: As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. While prior experience is a plus, it is not mandatory. We offer comprehensive training to help you succeed in this role. You will be responsible for managing check-ins, answering inquiries, and ensuring our guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Guest Assistance: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and assist guests with inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and services.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage room assignments, process payments accurately, and handle billing adjustments when necessary.
- Communication: Relay important messages to staff and ensure clear communication between the front desk and other departments.
- Reception Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including the reception desk, waiting area, and lobby.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints or special requests with patience and efficiency to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior experience is required. We are happy to train the right candidate.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Technical: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn Property Management Systems (PMS) quickly.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor are required at all times.
- Legal: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
