Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome guests warmly, check them in/out efficiently, and provide information about local attractions and amenities.
- Reception Duties: Answer multi-line phones professionally, route calls, and manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Administrative Support: Handle data entry, maintain guest registers, and process payments accurately using our property management system.
- Facility Maintenance: Monitor the front desk area, ensure the lobby is clean and inviting, and assist with light maintenance tasks as needed.
- Security: Assist in maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff by following security protocols.
- Upselling: Promote hotel services, dining options, and special packages to enhance the guest experience and boost revenue.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; a passion for service is more important.
- Experience: No prior front desk experience required. Previous customer service roles are a plus but not mandatory.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and comfort with standard office software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Interpersonal: A friendly, approachable, and patient personality with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
