Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and answering any initial questions.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including verifying identification and collecting payments.
- Phone Operations: Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, take accurate messages, and transfer calls to the appropriate departments.
- Shift Management: Monitor the front desk during assigned shifts, ensuring the lobby area is clean, organized, and secure.
- Issue Resolution: Address guest inquiries and resolve any minor complaints or issues immediately to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate guest records and logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; equivalent experience is considered.
- Experience: No prior experience required. Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of people.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Technology: Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn property management software quickly.
- Professionalism: A friendly, approachable demeanor and a strong work ethic.
