Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional greetings to guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including handling payments and processing reservations accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries about room availability, local attractions, and hotel services.
- Resolve guest complaints and concerns with patience and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Assist guests with directions, recommendations, and any special requests to enhance their stay.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and common spaces.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (POS experience a plus).
- A professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of luggage or supplies.
