Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or providing information to callers.
- Operations: Manage the front desk console, including handling mail, packages, and overnight accommodations.
- Problem Solving: Address guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate guest records in the property management system (PMS) and perform daily opening and closing duties.
- Visual Standards: Ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and presents a welcoming environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, Madeline) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
