Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/out processes while maintaining accuracy in reservation systems
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Process payments and maintain secure financial transaction records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams for operational excellence
- Upsell hotel amenities, dining options, and local attractions to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain immaculate front desk appearance and organize key systems
- Assist in emergency situations following established protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality/customer service experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with hotel management software (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Valid California driver's license (if airport shuttle duties required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
