Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process, including handling payments and processing reservations efficiently.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for guests, answering inquiries about local attractions, dining, and hotel amenities with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Operations: Manage the front desk operations, including answering phone calls, managing emails, and maintaining accurate guest records in our Property Management System (PMS).
- Issue Resolution: Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to the manager when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintenance Coordination: Report maintenance issues within the property to the engineering department and assist in coordinating room preparation for new arrivals.
- Security: Adhere to all hotel security protocols and fire safety regulations to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; experience in a luxury hotel setting is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable, and service-oriented demeanor.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
