Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, checking them in efficiently using our property management system.
- Manage the front desk operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and directing inquiries.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Process payments accurately and maintain a clean, organized reception area.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with concierge services, including local recommendations and transportation arrangements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or reception role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Professional appearance and a positive, customer-first attitude.
