Responsibilities
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and room assignments.
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, personalized welcome and assist with luggage or inquiries.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special arrangements (such as restaurant reservations or transportation) with grace and problem-solving skills.
- Answer incoming calls promptly, transferring inquiries to the appropriate department or taking detailed messages.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Process payments and manage cash handling with strict adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for arrival and address any maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in using property management systems (PMS) and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and a genuine passion for customer service.
