As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring every visitor feels welcomed, valued, and comfortable during their stay. You will manage reservations, handle inquiries with grace, and contribute to the seamless operation of our front-of-house department. Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional, and welcoming greetings to guests upon arrival and departure.
- Process check-ins, check-outs, and room changes efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle incoming phone calls and emails regarding reservations, special requests, and general inquiries.
- Manage cash handling, credit card transactions, and daily reconciliation of accounts.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and property upkeep.
- Upsell hotel amenities, dining options, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, reservation systems, and check-in/check-out procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Professional appearance and a positive, friendly demeanor.
