Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, verifying guest information and processing payments accurately.
- Communication Hub: Answer incoming calls, route messages, and respond to email inquiries promptly using the hotel management software.
- Guest Relations: Handle guest requests, complaints, and special needs with patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
- Lobby Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and common areas to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Administrative Support: Assist with daily filing, data entry, inventory checks, and other front office administrative tasks as needed.
- Shift Coordination: Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure continuity of service and seamless handovers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or hospitality role is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact positively with a diverse range of guests and colleagues.
- Problem Solving: Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and resolve guest issues effectively.
