Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, suites, and common areas to exceed brand standards
- Perform detailed room cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, changing linens, and restocking amenities
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report promptly to maintenance department
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper chemical handling procedures
- Collaborate with front desk and room service teams to coordinate room readiness and special guest requests
- Attend regular training sessions on new cleaning techniques and safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Valid work authorization and ability to pass background check
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation
