Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes using hotel management systems
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and billing inquiries with accuracy
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, exceeding expectations
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain a pristine front desk environment with organized documentation and supplies
- Process payments, manage cash handling procedures, and balance daily reports
- Act as a local resource for guests, providing recommendations for attractions and services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or front desk experience
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Delphi, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments with attention to detail
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of Milwaukee attractions and transportation options
