Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while maintaining accuracy in reservation systems
- Manage multi-line phone systems and handle guest inquiries with professionalism
- Process payments, resolve billing discrepancies, and manage cash handling procedures
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to address guest needs promptly
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and lobby appearance
- Act as a local resource for guests regarding attractions, dining, and transportation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask effectively during peak periods
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Charlotte area attractions and services
- High school diploma or equivalent required
