Responsibilities
- Greets guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manages the front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and accurate reservation management.
- Handles guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Processes payments accurately and maintains proper financial records and petty cash.
- Collaborates closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and common areas are pristine.
- Answers high-volume phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Assists in organizing lobby events and maintaining the overall aesthetic of the reception area.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, reception, or hospitality role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished professional tone.
- Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, StayNTouch, or similar software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and attention to detail.
