Your Role
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of our brand. You will manage the front operations, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive until they depart.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly, answer inquiries, and provide directions or recommendations.
- Operations Management: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, including verifying identification and processing payments.
- Communication: Operate the switchboard and intercom system; answer phone calls professionally and redirect as necessary.
- Problem Solving: Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating to management when required.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS) and handle mail and packages.
- Lobby Maintenance: Ensure the front desk area and lobby are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Shift Coordination: Assist in managing key control and security protocols during your shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Availability: Must be available to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Detail Oriented: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Language: Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.
